Our Commitment as a Voice 21 School
This year, we are taking part in the Discover Oracy Classroom Practice Programme. Our journey includes:
- Staff training and development days
- Oracy Champions experimenting with strategies in their classrooms
- Whole-school surveys to assess impact
- Embedding the Oracy Framework and Teacher Benchmarks into everyday teaching
What’s Next?
We are excited to continue developing oracy across our school. Staff and students will be engaging in oracy surveys, training, and classroom practice throughout the year. Our goal is to become an Oracy Centre of Excellence, where every child has the opportunity to find and use their voice.
