At Bluecoat Primary Academy, we love celebrating the brilliant choices our children make every day and Class Dojo helps us do just that!
Class Dojo is a fun and interactive platform that allows us to reward children for showing our school values, making positive behaviour choices, and demonstrating great learning habits. Every child has their own Dojo avatar, and they earn points throughout the day for things like:
- Being kind and respectful
- Showing resilience and integrity
- Listening carefully and working hard by engaging
- Helping others and being a great role model
Teachers use Class Dojo to give instant feedback, and children love seeing their points grow! It’s also a fantastic way to keep parents and carers connected, as they can see updates and celebrate their child’s achievements at home.
Class Dojo is part of our wider behaviour strategy and supports our trauma-informed approach by focusing on positive reinforcement, clear expectations, and celebrating success.
